Learning activity created inside the app, including learning requests you publish, responses, session records and the duration of live sessions.

Payment and wallet information needed to top up your wallet, bill for session time and process Master withdrawals. Payment details are handled by our payment partners; we do not store full card numbers.

Technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, and diagnostic logs used to keep the service stable.

To operate the core Octaleus experience: matching learning requests with relevant Masters, enabling live one-on-one sessions and recording the minutes used.

To verify Masters, maintain the verified badge and protect learners from misuse of the platform.

To calculate charges, apply the free first minute, maintain wallet balances and process withdrawals.

To improve reliability and product quality, respond to support requests and communicate important service updates.

We do not sell personal information.

Limited information is shared between learners and Masters so a session can take place — for example, the content of a learning request and the profile details a Master has chosen to publish.

We share information with service providers who help us run Octaleus, such as hosting, communications and payment processing, under agreements that limit their use of it.

We may disclose information where required by law or to protect the safety and rights of people using Octaleus.

We keep information for as long as your account is active and for as long as needed to meet legal, accounting and dispute-resolution obligations. When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing.

We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No service can promise perfect security, so please use a strong, unique password and keep your device up to date.

Octaleus is not directed at children below the minimum age permitted in their country. Where a younger learner uses Octaleus, it must be with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.

We may update this policy as Octaleus develops. When changes are material, we will highlight them in the app or by email before they take effect.
